Dockyard Total Solutions (Pvt) Ltd which is also known as DTS is a newly registered legal enterprise, which is a fully owned Subsidiary Company of Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC). It was established in 1974 and currently
it is Sri Lanka’s leading ship repair, shipbuilding, heavy engineering and offshore engineering facility, conveniently located within the port of Colombo.
DTS was established under the direct visionary focus of CDPLC Chairman to strengthen the power of CDPLC’s Group and make DTS as the main Service Provider for CDPLC and outside Companies.
We as the main Service Provider for CDPLC wish to turn your ideas and visions into workable designs through our vastly experienced team of Leaders, Engineers, Developers, Analysts and Solution teams who are committed, passionate and willing to be different and ready to provide tailor-made solutions to match any type of customer requirement. Colombo Dockyards shipbuilding activities commenced in 1974 with the construction of small tug boats, patrol boats, and barges which are now an important revenue source for the company. Since then, the company has been successful in securing orders from both local and overseas clients. We have been head- to-head with the leading shipbuilders worldwide and is now in an enviable position rivaling shipbuilding yards that specialize in the construction of high powered and complex tug boats as well as aluminum hulled high speed boats which are a part of our wide spectrum of shipbuilding capacity
